A rather Large retail facia shop sign
Sign media had the pleasure of being commissioned to design, print and fit the new shop facia sign for SB Concepts in Sunbury.
The abnormally large shop sign comes in at a staggering 19meters x 3 meters and boasts an LED backlit logo which certainly makes it stand out.
SB Concepts approached us after a rebrand and asked us to to bring the shopfront branding inline with the new company’s identity. Located on Staines Road West just before Sunbury Cross which is the entrance and exit for the m3 for the area, there is a significant amount passing traffic. We wanted to provide a solution which not only presents the brand accordingly but leaves a lasting impression.
The sign took 5 days from start to finish and being LED backlit can be seen seen day and night from very far away.
The project offered significant challenges, involving the sheer weight and size of the sign. Sign Media supplied powered access equipment and licensed high-level fitters as well as devising a re-inforced framework fitted to the building prior to the sign.
